Job Summary
The Quality Control Associate is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and documenting warehouse and transportation activities to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards. This includes verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inventory, kitting, and system transactions.
This is a hands-on warehouse position, not a strictly desk-based role. The Quality Control Associate will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and other duties as needed. A team-oriented, all-hands-on-deck approach is essential to maintaining service levels and meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer specifications.
Receive, pick, ship, organize, and store supplies, equipment, merchandise, and customer-owned materials.
Assist with inventory management, kitting, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Handle and properly store serialized equipment and electronic materials.
Follow customer-specific procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
Review and complete required system transactions and documentation accurately.
Support LTL shipping activities and work with transportation management systems (TMS), including bills of lading (BOLs).
Identify and report discrepancies, damaged materials, or quality issues.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Assist with other warehouse functions as operational needs require.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
1 3 years of warehouse, quality control, inventory, or related experience.
Knowledge of warehouse safety and proper material handling and storage procedures.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Current forklift certification preferred.
3+ years of warehouse, inventory, or quality control experience preferred.
