Thank you for taking the time to view our job listing. My name is John Rauscher, and I am the owner of Thunderbird Automotive Specialists, a family-owned and operated automotive repair facility located at 35th Ave and Thunderbird Road. We are currently seeking an experienced, Master Automotive Technician to join our team.
If you answered "no" to any of the questions above, I would love the opportunity to show you how we are different.
We truly understand how demanding and challenging a career as a professional automotive technician can be. Every day, we work to create an environment where our team can succeed, grow, and actually enjoy coming to work. We do not tolerate drama, violence, or toxic behavior in our shop. A positive, respectful culture is non-negotiable.
Our team members genuinely care about one another. You will often hear laughter and friendly (and always respectful) banter throughout the shop. I firmly believe that when technicians are happy and supported, productivity improves and the overall work experience becomes better for everyone.
We offer compensation that is more competitive than most shops in our area, with clear and easy-to-understand pay plans designed to help you succeed. I truly enjoy signing big paychecks each week-because when our employees win, the shop wins. We operate as one team. When someone needs help, everyone steps in. We succeed together-and we refuse to fail.
At Thunderbird Automotive Specialists, you are not just a number. You are an individual. We want you to succeed, reach your goals, enjoy your work, and still have time for your family, hobbies, sports, and the life you want outside the shop.
