Overview:
Our orthopedic practice in Prescott Valley is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care in collaboration with supervising surgeons. This full-time role offers a consistent Monday Friday schedule within a collaborative surgical team.
Position Offers:
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Competitive salary: $145 000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive orthopedic patient assessments, including detailed musculoskeletal exams
- Evaluate patients pre- and postoperatively, monitor recovery, and adjust care plans as needed
- Develop and implement individualized orthopedic treatment plans in collaboration with supervising surgeons
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and lab tests to guide clinical decisions
- Manage orthopedic pain using evidence-based pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic strategies
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment, and rehabilitation expectations
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the EHR
- Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members, including limited hospital rounding
Qualifications:
- Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Arizona
- Good hand/eye coordination and ability to work independently
- Orthopedic injections experience preferred
