ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY HAND SURGERY

POSITION SUMMARY
This role provides hand and upper extremity surgical care within a hospital employed program supported by a large multispecialty referral network. Responsibilities include managing operative and clinic based hand surgery, collaborating with fellowship trained orthopaedic colleagues, and maintaining a balanced schedule with structured call and clinic time. The position offers opportunities to participate in medical student and resident education.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and/or Hand Surgery.
• Residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Missouri.
• Clinical background in hand and upper extremity surgical care.
COMPETENCIES
• Proficiency in operative and non operative management of hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Ability to collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Skill in maintaining a balanced clinic and call schedule.
• Capacity to participate in educational activities with trainees.
• Commitment to accurate documentation and evidence based orthopaedic care.
