Our client, a well-established women's health practice known for its patient-centered approach and collaborative environment, is hiring a Obstetrician Gynecologist (OBGYN) Physician. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a supportive clinical setting. The chosen candidate will deliver evidence-based, patient-focused services, spanning preventive care, prenatal management, labor and delivery, gynecological procedures, and the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of women's health conditions. Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services in both office and hospital settings.
- Conduct preventive care visits, wellness exams, prenatal checkups, and labor and delivery services.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Obtain detailed medical histories, perform physical assessments, and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care throughout the patient's healthcare journey.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, contraception, menopause, and health maintenance.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as clinically indicated.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
- Participate in shared night and weekend call schedules.
- Supervise and collaborate with clinical staff, including nurses and medical assistants.
- Mentor medical students and advanced practice providers, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
- Support practice growth by developing lasting patient relationships and delivering exceptional care.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
- Eligibility for an unrestricted New York State medical license.
- Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred experience in a group practice setting, with advanced training or experience in minimally invasive and laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries.
