This facility is seeking an Endocrinology for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. for a 5-day schedule or 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. for a 4-day schedule; no call
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Types of Cases: Adult endocrinology and diabetes care, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, insulin pump management, continuous glucose monitoring, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and general endocrinology. Average 16-20 patients/day. Thyroid fine-needle aspiration experience preferred but not required.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-120 days
Electronic Medical Record: Epic
Certifications Required: Board Certified; Basic Life Support; active Maine Drug Enforcement Administration registration required 2 weeks before start
Licensure Required: Maine medical license; willing to license
