Our client in Washington is seeking a Physician specializing in Psychiatry for a 59-day assignment. This full-time role involves a mix of 5-7 inpatient shifts and 12-19 outpatient days per month, with occasional night call and quarterly weekend coverage. The Physician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care for adult patients, including rounding, admissions, and discharges, primarily working standard 8 AM to 5 PM shifts with specific split schedules for inpatient and outpatient days.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 5-7 inpatient shifts per month
- Manage 12-19 outpatient days per month
- Handle occasional night call duties
- Provide weekend coverage approximately once per quarter for inpatient telework, potentially remote if residing in Washington
- Adhere to clinic hours of 8 AM to 5 PM
- Follow inpatient/outpatient split day schedules: 8 AM to noon for inpatient, then 1 PM to 5 PM for clinic, with occasional 7:30 AM starts for court appearances
- Perform rounding and admissions, including required patient discharges
- Provide care for adult demographics
