Discover an opportunity to join a pediatric-focused pathology program in Coastal Virginia. Childrens Specialty Group (CSG), in partnership with Childrens Hospital of The Kings Daughters (CHKD) and Old Dominion University, is seeking a board-certified AP/CP Pathologist to join an established and collaborative team.
This position is based within a childrens hospital and will focus primarily on pediatric pathology. The team is open to both fellowship-trained pediatric pathologists and general pathologists with interest or experience in pediatric cases.

Approximately 3,000 surgical specimens annually, including oncology cases, GI biopsies, and bone marrow work
Balanced call structure (approximately 1:4), with shared responsibilities across the team
Team-based environment with no solo coverage and consistent support in both surgical and clinical settings
Flexible scheduling model designed to adapt to physician needs and promote long-term sustainability
Strong focus on quality care and manageable workload, not high-volume production expectations
