REQUIR ED PROCEDURES
    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
    • Licenses: Active LA Medical License, CDS, DEA with LA address
    • DEA/CDS: Active DEA and CDS requir ed
    • Cert ifications: ACLS, ALS, PALS (if not BC in EM)
    • Experience: Res idency trained in Emergency Medicine requir ed
    • Other Qual ifications: CME within past 2 years, case logs, copies of all education & training diplomas, ECFMG if applicable, SS Card, Driver's license, color photo, TB results, flu vaccine, health attestation, interview with Medical Director
    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Pro vide comprehensive er mergency medical care to patients of all ages.
    • Manage acute medical conditions including trauma, card iac, and res piratory er mergencies.
    • Per form requir ed er mergency pro cedures (e.g., intubation, central lines, etc.).
    • Coll aborate with nurs e pract itioners, physician assist ants, and sc ribes in patient care.
    • Main tain accurate medical records and com ply with hospital policies and reg ulations.
