Family Practice Physician (MD/DO)
Idaho

Overview:
Our family medicine practice in Idaho is seeking a Family Practice Physician to provide full-spectrum outpatient care, seeing approximately 10-15 patients per day. This role offers a consistent Monday Friday schedule with a start date of early January.

Position Offers:

  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
    • Lunch from 11:00 AM 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine care, including chronic disease management and acute care for minor illnesses and injuries
  • Conduct preventive health visits, annual physicals, and wellness counseling tailored to individual patient needs
  • Perform minor office procedures appropriate to a primary care setting (e.g., lesion removal, joint injections, wound care)
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in the EHR system
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, including screening, diagnostics, and follow-up
  • Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and self-care strategies
  • Coordinate care with external specialists and community resources to ensure continuity and quality
  • Contribute to practice workflows and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient experience and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO with completed Family Medicine residency
  • Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) and DEA registration in Idaho
  • Board certified in Family Medicine (or active pursuit if board-eligible)
  • Proven outpatient primary care experience with strong EHR proficiency, preventive medicine skills, and patient communication abilities
  • Occupational medicine-style evaluation experience and current or willingness to obtain DOT certification preferred
