Position Overview
A growing, patient-focused interventional pain management practice in Port Charlotte, Florida is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join its team.
The practice specializes in advanced interventional and minimally invasive pain procedures , with an emphasis on patient education, individualized treatment plans, and compassionate care.
This opportunity is open to both experienced Interventional Pain Physicians and Our practice specializes in advanced interventional and minimally invasive pain procedures while emphasizing patient education and individualized treatment plans. We believe patients should understand their diagnosis and treatment options and feel confident and comfortable with the entire care team.
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our team at our Port Charlotte, Florida location.
This opportunity is well suited for an experienced interventional pain physician as well as a new graduate who is completing or has recently completed a pain fellowship and is looking for a supportive practice where they can develop their procedural skills and grow professionally.

Clinical Responsibilities
The physician will provide comprehensive interventional pain management services, including:
- Patient evaluation and diagnosis
- Development of individualized treatment plans
- Epidural steroid injections
- Facet joint injections
- Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)
- Peripheral joint injections
- Spinal cord stimulator implantation and follow-up
- Peripheral nerve stimulator placement and management
- Sacroiliac (SI) joint injections
- SI joint fusion when clinically indicated
- Kyphoplasty
- Minute Men procedures and similar minimally invasive pain procedures
- Other advanced interventional spine and pain procedures within the physician's training and scope of practice
Patient Care Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
- Review imaging and assess pain conditions
- Educate patients about diagnoses and treatment options
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide ongoing follow-up and patient management
- Perform medication management when appropriate
- Monitor treatment response and modify care plans as needed
- Coordinate care with nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pain Medicine/Interventional Pain Management
- Fellowship training in Pain Medicine/Interventional Pain
- Background may include Anesthesiology, PM&R, Neurology , or another relevant specialty
- Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Active DEA registration or eligibility
- Interest and/or experience in interventional spine, joint, and pain procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
