Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums FamilyMedicine Physician to provide outpatient care in Petoskey, Michigan. Thisopportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends or call.

Schedule & Patient Details Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Approximately 20 patients per day

Adult and pediatric outpatient care

Patient population: newborn through geriatric

EHR: Cerner

Support staff: One Medical Assistant and onePatient Access Representative per provider

No weekend or on-call requirements

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient familymedicine care for patients from newborn through geriatric.

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute andchronic conditions.

Perform pediatric and adult wellness visitsand routine gynecological care, including pelvic exams and Pap smears.

Interpret EKGs and order or review diagnostictesting.

Document patient encounters and treatmentplans in Cerner.

Coordinate care with clinical support staffand other healthcare providers.

Requirements MD or DO degree

Board Certified in Family Medicine

Active Michigan medical license

Family Medicine experience required

Must be local to Michigan

Must be experienced and comfortable treatingpatients from newborn through geriatric
