Job description

As a Production Associate on our Manufacturing team, you'll be part of a collaborative, safety-first environment where attention to detail and consistent quality matter every day. This frontline role supports cultivation-to-consumer operations: performing production-line tasks such as trimming, weighing, dosing, filling, packaging, labeling, sanitation, and batch documentation. You will follow SOPs and state regulations to ensure product safety and compliance, help meet daily production targets, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Bud & Marys offers a culture focused on growth, training, and career pathways across our Colorado, Michigan, Missouri, and Iowa operations.

Salary

$18 - $20 USD per hour

Required Skills

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance protocols accurately
- Strong attention to detail and consistency for repetitive tasks (trimming, weighing, filling, labeling)
- Basic math and quality-record keeping skills for batching and inventory logs
- Comfortable using Windows-based software or production tracking tools for data entry
- Able to work standing for long periods, perform repetitive hand tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Demonstrated reliability with good time management and consistent attendance
- Ability to work on-site and be flexible to rotate shifts (including early mornings or evenings as needed)
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings and any state licensing/badging requirements
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to take direction and provide constructive feedback

Desired Skills

- Prior experience in cannabis production, processing, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with state cannabis regulations, seed-to-sale systems, and batch traceability
- Experience with packaging equipment, capping/filling machines, or light mechanical troubleshooting
- Food-safety or GMP/HACCP training or certification
- Quality control or inspection experience, including product sampling and basic testing procedures
- Forklift or pallet jack certification and safe operation experience
- Demonstrated interest in career growth within manufacturing, quality, or operations roles
