Experienced Cardiac Electrophysiologist needed in Dallas, TX
Methodist Medical Group (MMG), a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a board-certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a growing cardiovascular program in the Dallas area. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the diagnosis and management of cardiac arrhythmias and experience performing a broad range of electrophysiology procedures.
To support the continued growth and strategic staffing plans, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated physician to join an established cardiovascular program and have access to advanced electrophysiology technology and procedural capabilities. Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and rhythm disorders.
- Perform electrophysiology studies and catheter-based ablation procedures.
- Perform atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter ablations.
- Implant and manage pacemakers, ICDs, and other cardiac rhythm management devices.
- Participate in device interrogation and long-term device management.
- Diagnose and treat supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias.
- Collaborate with general cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, hospitalists, and other specialists.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology consultations.
- Participate in call responsibilities.
- Contribute to quality improvement, clinical education, and program development.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
- Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
- Completion of an accredited Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas.
- Excellent clinical, procedural, communication, and interpersonal skills.
