EMERGENCY MEDICINE

POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports an emergency medicine service providing continuous coverage within a dedicated emergency department. Responsibilities include managing a broad range of acute presentations, participating in variable 12 hour shifts across days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and working alongside physicians and physician assistants. The position includes access to specialty consultation, diagnostic resources, and coordinated support from hospital based teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Residency training in Emergency Medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary emergency care team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in evaluating and treating diverse emergency conditions.
• Ability to manage patient flow in a high acuity environment.
• Capacity to collaborate with specialty services and support teams.
• Proficiency in coordinating care with nursing, respiratory therapy, and diagnostic services.
