POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports an outpatient psychiatric service within a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, managing pharmacologic treatment for adults, and coordinating care with internal and community resources. The position includes scheduled clinic hours on weekdays, optional virtual visit integration, and availability for inpatient consultation during business hours without after hours or weekend call.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry.
• Residency training in Psychiatry.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in evaluating and treating adult psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Ability to manage medication therapy for mental health disorders.
• Capacity to provide consultation support for inpatient psychiatric needs during business hours.
• Proficiency in coordinating care with internal and community mental health resources.
• Commitment to evidence based psychiatric practice.
