INTERNAL MEDICINE PULMONARY DISEASE

POSITION SUMMARY
This role supports a pulmonary medicine service within a multispecialty clinical environment. Responsibilities include providing outpatient pulmonary care as the sole specialist in the department, directing respiratory rehabilitation activities, and offering periodic inpatient consultation. The position includes opportunities to expand services through outreach and to manage a broad range of pulmonary conditions using modern clinical resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Pulmonary Disease.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Clinical background in Pulmonary Disease.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in evaluating and treating diverse pulmonary conditions across the full spectrum of respiratory disease.
• Ability to perform pulmonary procedures including bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing.
• Capacity to oversee respiratory rehabilitation services.
• Proficiency in coordinating care with physicians, outpatient staff, and respiratory therapy teams.
• Commitment to evidence based pulmonary practice.
