This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not W-2 employment. Compensation is 50% of the completed job total after parts costs are deducted. Payments are made on Thursdays for completed jobs from the previous week. There is no hourly wage or base salary; workload and earnings are not guaranteed. Responsibilities: independently diagnose and repair residential washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens/ranges and refrigerators; explain repair options and pricing to customers; document service and completed repairs in Housecall Pro; coordinate appointments with dispatch. Sealed-system repair experience is a plus, not required. Requirements: at least 6 months of paid, hands-on appliance repair experience, reliable vehicle, personal tools and ability to work independently. Before starting, contractors must have an LLC and General Liability Insurance, provide a W-9, and sign the AMS contractor agreement and technician handbook.
