Sunstate Carriers, Inc. is hiring CDL A OTR Reefer Drivers in Tavares, FL. Drivers will be hauling refrigerated goods throughout the northeast, southeast, midwest, and Texas. 100% of the freight hauled is customer freight, not brokered freight. - Average weekly pay: $1,500 to $1,800
- Base 56 CPM with an average of 2,700 3,200 miles weekly
- CPM increase every 6 months!

- Accessorial Pay:
- Detention pay: $15 per hour maximum of 5 hours (starts 3 hours after appt. time)
- Layover pay: $75 per 24 hour period
- Breakdown pay: $100 + $25 food allowance per 24 hour period (excluding FL yard)
- Relay pay: $50 (loads picked up at terminal do not apply)
- Bonuses:
- 90-Day bonus: $1,000
- Referral bonus: $1,000
- Holiday bonus pay
- Monthly mileage performance bonus: Starts at 2 CPM up to 6 CPM
- Driver of the quarter performance bonus: Extra 3 CPM on all miles for the following quarter

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL A license
- Must have a minimum of 15 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years
- No reckless/careless driving, 15 over speeding, cell phone use, U-turns, or backing on a roadway in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions for as long as the driver has held a CDL
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- No more than 1 preventable crash in the past year or 2 preventable crashes in the past 3 years
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
