We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician / Physiatrist to join a growing team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Elwood, KS.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PM&R physician looking for strong hourly compensation, flexible scheduling, short shifts, and excellent work-life balance while practicing within a collaborative, physician-driven clinical model.
Schedule & Compensation
$200 $250 per hour
Part-time approximately 3 days per week Monday Friday No call
Approximately 5 7 hours per day, depending on efficiency and census
Flexible start and end times
Rotational schedule with another provider covering alternate days
Travel-related expenses may be covered depending on location
What You'll Do
Provide PM&R care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Evaluate, diagnose and manage rehabilitation patients
Develop and oversee individualized rehabilitation plans
Work alongside Internal Medicine in a consultative capacity to manage medically complex patients
Collaborate with nursing, therapy and other members of the interdisciplinary team
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Active Kansas medical license or ability to obtain
Federal DEA registration
Kansas controlled substance registration or eligibility
Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred
