ResponsibilitiesAs an advanced practice clinician in the Citizens Baptist ED, you will:
- Independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a full spectrum of emergency presentations
- Perform procedures consistent with emergency medicine practice (suturing, splinting, I&D, etc.)
- Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced community emergency department
Qualifications- Current NP or PA licensure in Alabama (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine preferred
- Current ACLS/BLS; PALS certification preferred
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
