PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

POSITION SUMMARY
The role involves delivering outpatient dermatologic care within The Department, including evaluating skin conditions, performing dermatologic procedures, and supporting ongoing treatment plans. Responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, managing common and complex dermatologic concerns, educating patients, and collaborating with dermatology colleagues to ensure coordinated care.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Master s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
• Active or eligible Minnesota licensure as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
• Basic Life Support and required prescribing credentials upon hire
• Experience or training in dermatology practice
• Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in assessing and managing dermatologic conditions
• Ability to perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy
• Capacity to develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management
• Proficiency in documenting care within an electronic medical record
• Commitment to patient education and coordinated dermatologic care

Work Environment: Clinic/Private Practice; Outpatient
