We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join a busy, high-acuity emergency department in Michigan City, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative environment with strong clinical support, modern resources, and a diverse patient population.
Position Highlights
- Level III Trauma Center
- Annual ED Volume: Approximately 50,000 visits
- 33-bed Emergency Department
- 3 dedicated trauma bays
- Coverage Model:
- 37 physician hours daily
- 36 APP hours daily
- Scribe support available
- Specialty care rooms including ENT, GYN, Orthopedic, and additional focused treatment spaces
- EMR: Epic
- July start available
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
- Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- Family Medicine
- Internal Medicine
- New graduates welcome if ABEM eligible/certified
- FM/IM candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing in a 30,000+ annual visit emergency department
- Current BLS certification required
