OB Hospitalist Physician No Call Des Moines, Iowa Join an established OB Hospitalist program focused entirely on inpatient obstetric care, with no clinic responsibilities or call coverage.
Position Highlights - Inpatient OB Focus: Manage OBED patients, unassigned emergent cases, vaginal deliveries, C sections, and GYN procedures.
- High Volume Program: Support approximately 3,000 deliveries annually, with a dedicated OBED seeing approximately 1,400 visits each year.
- Hospital Resources: Practice within a hospital featuring a Level III NICU, multiple labor suites, and comprehensive postpartum support.
- Subspecialty Support: Work with MFM specialists and a dedicated maternal transport team.
- Shift Based Model: Practice entirely through scheduled shifts with no call responsibilities.
- Annual Schedule: Work approximately hour in house shifts per year.
Candidate Requirements - Board certified or board eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology physician
- Comfortable managing OBED patients, deliveries, and surgical cases
- Open to experienced physicians and new graduates
- J 1 and H 1B visa sponsorship available
