- Position Description: An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides rapid, high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. The ER RN works in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs through triage, assessment, intervention, stabilization, and ongoing evaluation.
- Required Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. No minimum years of experience specified; position requires 0 years.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing rapid and comprehensive patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms, administering medications and treatments, operating emergency equipment, and collaborating with the healthcare team.
