POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a rheumatology specialist to join an outpatient practice supported by a collaborative clinical team. The role offers a stable schedule with no call responsibilities and significant time away from practice. The position serves a large referral network and supports growing demand for rheumatologic care.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Rheumatology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in rheumatology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
• Interest in outpatient rheumatologic care within a multidisciplinary setting.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to evaluate and manage a broad range of rheumatologic conditions.
• Skill in providing outpatient specialty care with support from advanced providers.
• Effective communication within a collaborative clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient centered chronic disease management.
• Capacity to maintain a balanced schedule with consistent patient access.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Outpatient rheumatology clinic located on the main campus.
• No call and no rounding at other facilities.
