PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Rounding: Both assigned & unassigned patients
  • Patient Volume: 12-15 in clinic (If urgent or emergency, will be called into the chemo or Specialty Clinic which is in the same bldg)
  • Case Mix: Oncology, Hospital Consults
FACILITY INFORMATION
  • EMR: Iknowmed
  • Support Staff: RN: 1, MAs: 2, Office Staff: 2
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC in both Hematology & Medical Oncology
  • Licenses: Licensed in AZ or IMLC
  • Certification: BLS
  • Fellowship: Required
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide Oncology care to patients in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.
  • Manage a high-volume patient caseload during clinic hours (Mon-Thu 8a-5p, Fri 8a-12p).
  • Conduct hospital rounds and occasional hospital consults for oncology patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive cancer care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Iknowmed EMR system.
