- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 am - 5 pm; no on-call or weekend requirements
Practice Environment:
- Practice Setting: Primarily outpatient hospital department and free-standing cancer center, with some inpatient consults
- Team Structure: Collaborate with one other radiation oncologist on staff
- Daily Patient Volume: Outpatient care for approximately 40 adult patients per day
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology (mandatory)
- Ohio Medical License (active)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (active)
Required Skills and Procedures:
- Proficiency in Radiation Therapy Techniques:
- Conventional Radiotherapy
- 3D Radiotherapy
- External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT)
- Photon Beam Radiation Therapy
- Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
- Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
- Essential Duties:
- Prescribe radiation doses and treatment plans
- Order imaging as necessary for treatment efficacy
Documentation and Systems:
- EMR Systems: Familiarity with Mosaiq and Epic preferred
- Credentialing Timeline: Estimated at 90-120 days
Compensation and Travel Support:
- Hourly Rate: Competitive locum tenens hourly rates
- Travel and Accommodation: Reimbursement provided for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at the IRS standard rate
