Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Details:
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule
- Patient Care:
- 100% outpatient coverage, providing care to patients with various neurological conditions
- Manage an average of 12-16 patients per day in a clinic setting
- Work collaboratively with a team of 11 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Support Staff:
- Supported by a skilled team including 1 RN, 4 LPNs, and 1 MA
- Access to onsite labs and advanced office equipment including EMG and Doppler
- EMR System: Epic, ensuring streamlined documentation and patient management
Certification & Licensure Requirements:
- Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Neurology
- State License: Active Virginia medical license highly preferred, must be obtained by the time of credentialing
- Additional Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Vaccination Requirements:
- Flu vaccine required at the time of credentialing
- COVID-19 vaccine highly preferred
