Overview
We are seeking to expand our pool of locum Interventional Cardiologists to enhance coverage and ensure high-quality care for our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Interventional Cardiologists looking to make a difference in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Responsibilities
As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing expert cardiac care during on-call shifts
- Performing essential interventional procedures such as balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
- Conducting heart catheterizations and coronary angiograms
- Collaborating with the cardiology team to deliver comprehensive care to adult patients
- Responding to all cardiology calls for the hospital and providing general cardiology consults as needed
- Ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters using our EMR system, Epic
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology - REQUIRED
- Active Kentucky License & DEA - REQUIRED; candidates with IMLC and 3-7 days/month availability will also be considered
- ACLS Certification - REQUIRED
- COVID Vaccine - Preferred
