Locums - Syracuse, New York, CRNA Opening
Clinical Role
- Start December 2026 with ongoing coverage through June 2027
- 2-3 full-time CRNAs needed
- Locums, locum-to-permanent, and permanent candidates may be considered
- Supervised practice model with CRNAs expected to function independently within their scope
- Adult and geriatric patients, including ages 16+
Schedule & Coverage
- 10-hour shifts, 7:00 am-5:30 pm
- No call required
- Dedicated CRNA coverage is provided for evenings, nights, and weekends
Practice Setting & Case Mix
- Hospital operating rooms
- Endoscopy unit
- Cardiac lab
- Ambulatory surgery center
- 15 main ORs and 4 ambulatory surgery center ORs
- Level II Trauma Center
- Regional blocks are not required
Practice Model & Support
- Anesthesiologist supervision
- General supervision ratio of 1:4
- Cardiac supervision ratio of 1:2
- CRNAs should be comfortable functioning without the supervising Anesthesiologist continuously in the room
- Scrub technicians, RN circulators, and Anesthesia technicians available
- Epic EMR
Requirements & Credentialing
- NBCRNA certification required
- Active New York license required
