Banner University Medical Group is growing and interviewing Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional patient care services as part of the Dermatology team. The position provides exposure to a wide range of procedures complexity levels, and patient cases, with a strong support system to help you develop your expertise. The scope of practice will be based on your skill level and professional interests. At least 50% of the practice focuses on General Dermatology. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient management, prescribing and managing medications, coordinating care, and referring for additional procedures as appropriate.
Practice Highlights
- Full-Time Monday-Friday Daytime Hours (One session of 4 hour block per week for Admin time)
- No Call
- 100% Ambulatory; Outpatient Only
- Performs comprehensive skin, hair, and nail examinations and formulates dermatologic diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Obtains and reviews dermatologic and general medical histories, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests such as skin biopsies, fungal cultures, blood work, and imaging studies as appropriate for dermatologic conditions.
- Determines and implements evidence-based treatment plans for a wide range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers).
- Monitors patient progress, evaluates treatment effectiveness, and modifies care plans as clinically indicated.

Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of Dermatology NP experience required.
- Experience performing dermatologic procedures.
- Ability to work with physicians as well as residents and fellows.
