We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, Fellowship-Trained Colorectal Surgeon to join a growing hospital-employed surgical practice in Summerville, South Carolina. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with benign and malignant colorectal diseases
- Perform minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, and open colorectal surgical procedures
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
- Evaluate and manage abdominal and anorectal disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Gastroenterology, Oncology, Radiology, and General Surgery
- Participate in resident education and surgical teaching
- Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation
- Participate in shared colorectal surgery call coverage
Qualifications Required
- MD or DO
- Fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery
- Must become Board Certified within five years of fellowship completion
- Eligible for an unrestricted South Carolina medical license
- Current unrestricted DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

- Robotic surgery experience or strong interest in robotic colorectal surgery
- Commitment to resident education and mentorship
- Excellent communication and collaborative practice skills
