McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking a Locum Neurology Physician for coverage beginning November 2026.

• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• Inpatient Call: 24/7, beginning and ending at 8:00 AM
• Weekend Call: 24-hour call, 8:00 AM 8:00 AM
• Patient Volume: Approximately 6 8 patients per day
• EMR: Cerner

• Outpatient clinic hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 PM 3:00 PM
• Clinic appointments occur within the 8-hour onsite day
• Provide onsite hospital coverage when there are no outpatient appointments or when clinic is not scheduled for the full day
• Provide inpatient neurology coverage and rounding
• Provide after-hours call coverage
• Perform EEG reads for both inpatient and outpatient cases as needed

• Radiologic exam interpretation
• Lumbar puncture (spinal tap)
• EEG
• Brain death examination
• Evoked potentials
