What You ll Do: - Evaluate and manage medical issues of adult patients within Gastroenterology/Internal Medicine practice
- Request consultations with specialists when needed
- Provide patient education on preventive care, medication, and treatment plans
- Document evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and patient outcomes in EPIC
- Facilitate high-priority, complex case referrals to physicians
- Prescribe and monitor medications and emergency interventions as appropriate
- Ensure documentation compliance for billing and regulatory standards
What You Need: - NY State License and AHA BLS certification
- At least 3 years of recent relevant experience in gastroenterology
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
About the Assignment:This position involves working in a dedicated Gastroenterology unit caring for acutely ill adults with a variety of medical issues.
