Looking for your next inpatient psychiatry assignment in beautiful New England? A respected academic healthcare system in New Hampshire is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity.

Practice Details
Inpatient psychiatry setting
Monday through Friday schedule
8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
No call responsibilities
Average daily census of 8 to 10 patients
New admissions and daily follow-up care
Must be fellowship in geriatrics, or must have ATLS, etc.
Start date of 2/1, but it can depend on the credentialing timeline and how relatively quickly the provider completes the application

Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult psychiatric patients
Manage inpatient admissions and ongoing treatment plans
Prescribe and monitor medications
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
Complete timely and accurate documentation
Provide patient-centered care in an academic environment

Qualifications
MD or DO
Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
Active New Hampshire license preferred or ability to obtain
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
