A healthcare system in New York City is seeking an experienced Medical Director to oversee its ID&LGBTQ Programs at one of its Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Manhattan.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate clinicians providing infectious disease and LGBTQ services across multiple clinic sites
- Support leadership in the development and maintenance of integrated HIV service plans and related clinical initiatives
- Provide clinical guidance on HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, STIs, PrEP, PEP, and transgender health services
- Collaborate with population health and program teams to review quality metrics, update care standards, and support compliance requirements
- Assist with provider credentialing, clinician support, committee participation, and the advancement of new program initiatives
Qualifications:
- Medical degree
- Extensive experience with HIV, infectious disease, and LGBTQ health issues
- Demonstrated ability to work with HIV-infected individuals
- Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and religious backgrounds
Desired Skills:
- Experience with transgender health care, including hormone therapy and referrals for gender-affirming surgery
- Background in provider education, clinical committee participation, and program development
- Familiarity with grant compliance and clinical quality improvement efforts
