Neonatology Physician

Locums - Alexandria, Louisiana Neonatology Job (IMLC Accepted)

Holiday Coverage Needed:

• 12/22/2026-12/25/2026
• 12/29/2026-01/02/2027
• Per diem coverage

NICU Details:

• 34-bed, Level III NICU
• Diverse acuity and case variety
• Approximately 1,500-2,000 deliveries annually
• Newborn nursery rounds

Practice Model:

• Collaborative 2 Neonatologist / 4 NNP model
• NNPs in-house 24 hours a day
• Home call for Neonatologists after rounds
• NNP-led transport team
• Physician covers in-house during transports

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neonatology
• Minimum 1 year of post-fellowship clinical experience
• Active Louisiana license
• IMLC accepted
