Facility in Potsdam, NY seeking Rad Onc locums coverage Rates: $300/hr Opportunity Highlights - Coverage Dates: 3 days during the week of May 18, 2026. (Tuesday Thursday preferred, but flexible).
- Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM 5:30 PM.
- No Call: No nightly or weekend call requirements.
- Support Team: 1 Nurse Practitioner (NP) and 1 Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on unit.
- EMR: EPIC (Recent experience required).
Clinical Responsibilities The provider will manage an average daily census of adult patients in a clinic setting. Patients typically present with a wide variety of medical complexities requiring acute oncological management.
- Diagnosis & Planning: Evaluate medical histories and conduct diagnostic tests to develop personalized radiation therapy plans.
- Advanced Modalities: Administer treatments, including stereotactic radiosurgery and other high-precision methods.
- Patient Monitoring: Track treatment effectiveness, manage side effects, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary oncology team.
- Medication Management: Utilize the Pixys automated dispensing system for clinical needs.
Provider Requirements - Board Status: Board Certified (Required).
- Licensure: Active New York (NY) State License in hand.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience.
- Certifications: Active AHA BLS and ACLS.
- Documentation: Up-to-date CV (noting all gaps >30 days) and a physician statement for any past malpractice history.
