Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct hospital rounds and perform surgeries as required.
- Manage patient care during your shift, ensuring the highest quality of service.
- Document medical records using the EPIC EMR system.
- Participate in the on-call schedule as necessary.
- Perform essential procedures such as Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), and Heart Valve Replacement.
- Provide care in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in cardiovascular surgery (Required).
- Board certified in Cardiovascular surgery (Required).
- Active South Carolina medical license (No exceptions for those who need to obtain) (Required).
- Current ACLS certification (Required).
- Self-query NPDB report required during presentation (Required).
- Must have a clean background to be considered for temporary positions (Required).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active South Carolina medical license.
