What You ll Do
- Manage labor and delivery, including vaginal and C-section deliveries
- Provide inpatient OB/GYN care, consultations, and surgical interventions
- Respond to obstetric emergencies in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on prenatal and postpartum health
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow best practices
What You Need
Required: - Ohio Medical License or eligible for licensure
- Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
- Experience in labor and delivery, inpatient OB/GYN care
Preferred: - Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ability to manage obstetric emergencies effectively
About the Assignment
This position supports inpatient OB/GYN services in a 260-bed hospital with a Level 2 nursery and approximately 1,500 births annually. The role involves managing labor, delivery, and obstetric emergencies, providing consultations, and participating in surgical interventions all in a multidisciplinary environment focused on quality patient care.
