Full-time interventional radiology nurse practitioner

Join a collaborative radiology and multidisciplinary clinical care team
Provide patient-centered care for patients undergoing diagnostic and image-guided interventional procedures
Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, medications, and medical history to support procedure planning and treatment decisions
Provide pre-procedure, peri-procedure, and post-procedure care
Assist with and, when credentialed and permitted by organizational protocols, perform interventional radiology procedures in collaboration with supervising physicians
Coordinate patient education, procedural preparation, discharge instructions, follow-up care, and communication with patients, families, referring clinicians, and care teams
Participate in inpatient consults, rounding, outpatient evaluations, and longitudinal follow-up as needed
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Work closely with interventional radiologists, nurses, technologists, and other care-team members to promote safe, efficient, high-quality care
Masters or doctoral degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program required
Active or eligible Maryland registered nurse and nurse practitioner credentials required
Current national nurse practitioner certification required
Interventional radiology, radiology, vascular, surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, or other procedural-care experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, communication, patient-education, organization, and documentation skills
