We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Torrance, CA. This is a great chance to provide coverage for a medical leave while enjoying a flexible work schedule.
Key Details: - Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: April 1, 2025
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Practice Setting: Outpatient only; no inpatient responsibilities
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: Collaborative team including RNs, MAs, and PAs/NPs
Practice Highlights: - Patients Per Shift: Average of 23
- No Call or Rounding Required: Focus solely on outpatient care
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Skills Needed:
- Routine and high-risk pregnancy management
- OB ultrasounds (Level I/II)
- C-sections and VBACs
- Office gynecology procedures (e.g., IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy)
- Surgical gynecology including laparoscopic procedures
- Endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopy, and polyp removals
