Locum Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician Needed for Clinic and Call Coverage
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Iowa. This opportunity involves providing both clinic and call coverage. The assignment begins on November 20, 2023, at 8 am and ends on November 27, 2023, at 8 am. There will also be additional dates needed on a monthly basis, as the site connects with their internal providers for the full 2024 calendar. This is an ongoing locum opportunity.

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active and unrestricted Iowa license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
Specialty Skills Required:
- Low risk pregnancy
- High risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation
- Level I/Screening (viability)
- Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
- Amniocentesis
- Routine delivery - Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section, Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
- Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
