Cardiology Physician

A well-established healthcare system in Washington is seeking Board-Certified Cardiology Physicians for a locum tenens assignment. This is an inpatient-focused role with a combination of scheduled clinical hours and night call coverage.

Providers must be comfortable managing cardiology patients in a hospital setting and able to support both day shifts and call duties.

• Inpatient shift: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
• Night call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM (pager call, not every night)
• Coverage needed for select weeks between September 2026 January 2027
• Overtime applies after 10 hours/day
• Clinical Responsibilities
  • Inpatient cardiology care and rounding
  • Admissions and consults
  • Night call coverage with phone consults
  • Patient volume: approximately per shift

• Board Certified Cardiology (Required)
• Fellowship training preferred
• Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Must be able to perform both inpatient shifts and call coverage
• Clean file required for expedited temporary privileges
