Locum Hematologist Oncologist coverage needed from approximately October 1, 2025 through December 31, 2026 for an FMLA gap with no extension neededOutpatient clinic schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with after-hours call as part of a shared call poolCall schedule: shared call pool with APP support, covering 5:00 PM to 7:00 AMPractice setting includes inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic, and infusion centerCall ratio of 1 in 5Patient population: Adult and GeriatricPosition focus is approximately 90% hematology and 10% solid tumor coverageCoverage includes both malignant and benign hematology; benign heme patients outnumber malignant heme patientsCommunity practice model seeing a typical variety of malignant hematology patients; no BMT or advanced academic center treatmentsWhen on call, provider may cover all patients including solid tumor and hematology6 physicians in practice with 5 inpatient APPs covering 2 hospitals and 6 outpatient APPsRadiation Oncologists present during locum tenens coverageAverage of 10-15 patients per day for inpatient rounding and 15 patients per day in outpatient clinicEMR: EpicRequired procedures include FNA/BiopsyRequired duties include participation on a Tumor Board, ordering tests and images, prescribingBoard Certification required; active Michigan license strongly preferredBLS required; must be available full timeFacility:
