Job description

Position: Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist

Location: Eureka, CA

Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing

Credentialing Timeline: Standard Facility Privileging (Privileges document attached)

Schedule, Shifts & Compensation Structure
  • Coverage Expectation: Ongoing coverage for 1 2 weeks per month (Must be willing to work nights and weekends)
  • Shift Volume Requirement: 5 7 shifts per month minimum commitment
  • Shift Structures:
    • Onboarding Phase: Providers complete a few weeks of day shifts alongside perm staff prior to joining the night rotation
    • OB Shift (7:00 AM 7:00 PM):
      • 7:00 AM 3:00 PM: In-house
      • 3:00 PM 7:00 PM: On-call
    • Evening (2) Shift (3:00 PM 7:00 AM):
      • 3:00 PM 11:00 PM: In-house
      • 11:00 PM 7:00 AM: On-call
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Board Status: Board Eligible (BE) in Anesthesiology
  • Licensure: Active California State Medical License & Active DEA required
