Job Details:
Coverage is a mix of call and clinic, typically 3 or 4 days of call per weekIncludes rounding on inpatients with approximately 2-4 inpatients per dayResponding to consults in a timely manner with an average of 5-7 consultsPatient encounters per shift: 15-20Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (Urological Surgery)Pennsylvania license or IMLC preferredGeneral Urology experience required with adult patients; pediatric and neonate experience preferredUreteroscopy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures requiredPreferred skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, fertility work-up, penile prosthesis, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), renal transplant surgery, and advanced pediatric surgeryLodging arrangements made by facilityNearest airports: Pittsburgh, Latrobe, or JohnstownFacility:
