Provide 24-hour urology call coverage on a 7a-7a scheduleIn-house call is not required; however, response time to be on-site is within 20 minutesTypically 2-4 calls per night with 1-2 expected on-site call-insApproximately 1-5 patients per shift with an average of 2-5 inpatient calls per 24-hour periodPhysicians are not required to remain on-site during night or weekend call but are required to round and dischargeAverage on-site call-back hours expected: 2-4 hours per dayIf assignment is strictly 24-hour call: 2-4 hours per day of rounding with remaining hours on-call with call-backResponsible for rounding on new admissions and any inpatient who requires roundingHandle patient consults, transfer questions, and on-call inquiriesCommon procedures include kidney stone management, consults on continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), stent placement, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placementsGeneral urology skills required including adult urology and ureteroscopyLaparoscopic surgery and nephrectomy skills preferredBoard certification requiredLevel 2 trauma facilityFacility:
