Provide locum interventional radiology coverage with general IR experience required and stroke capabilities preferred8-hour day shift generally between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with evening call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM24-hour call coverage required on weekendsAverage of 10-15 procedures performed during the 8-hour on-site day shiftCall backs are generally only required for emergenciesNo diagnostic reading required between IR casesRequired procedures include: diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization therapy, vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, port-a-cath insertions, IVC filters, TIPS, percutaneous needle biopsies, abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, pain management procedures, vertebroplasty, arthrograms, chest tube insertion, uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, and cryoablationNeuro (head) stroke thrombectomy capability is requiredEMR system: EpicBoard Certification requiredActive North Dakota license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) requiredIR residency or fellowship requiredACLS and BLS certifications requiredClean malpractice history highly preferredFacility:
